Giants Foundation is a Men’s Seminar aimed at changing mind-sets of the men in our community and encouraging the youth to start their businesses and ideally to be brave and confident enough to want to be entrepreneurs and take a different route to the traditional go to school and get a good job, and rather try and be the one who creates the good jobs and help change the unemployment rate in South Africa and more so in the Township. We invite young prominent business men, funding institutions and mentorship organisations to come and inspire the youth to dream and reach for the stars.
The purpose of this trip is for young and older couples to interact and share ideas, life experiences, challenges, and triumphs and basically see how other people engage with each other and the world. One of the themes for this hiking excursion is #Don’tLeaveYourPartnerBehind so couples may understand that the most important thing is to stick together and help each other through the walks of life and that the trials and tribulations of the journey and not the destination is what really makes the relationship stand through the test of time. Couples that do things together are more likely to succeed at any given situation than those that work independently.
A Father and Child Outing allows for a child and father to spend time together with very little interruptions and therefore be able to bond on a more genuine level, and the father gets to better understand their kids and the children also get to know their fathers a little bit better so they can be more free to communicate things with them in the future.
